EVE Chapter 2- Host , finished, blessed ,sanctified, rested
Genesis 2:1 -3
Thus the heavens and the earth were finished, and all the host of them.
And on the seventh day God ended his work which he had made; and he rested on the seventh day from all his work which he had made.
And God blessed the seventh day, and sanctified it: because that in it he had rested from all his work which God created and made.
It is important to know when our work is finished. I have sometimes "finished" something before it was complete. That kind of work is shoddy and full of errors. Then there have been times that my work was complete and yet I kept working it. The finished product then looked very little like the original work. Knowing when to continue and when to cease from our work is sometimes difficult for us. How do we determine when something is finished? Do we give up when it gets difficult? Are we anxious to get on with the next project? Are we bored with the work we been given? This has been some of the reasons for handing in shoddy work.
Why do we keep working on something that is finished? Are we insecure about our abilities? Are we perfectionist? Are we afraid to go on to the next project?
How do we determine when something is finished?

Who were told to gather 12 stones?
Why were they told to gather 12 stones?
Do you see any comparison to the 12 stones in the new testament?

Rahab Joshua 3: 9-17
How will the Israelite know that the Lord God is living amongst them?
Who will the Lord drive out before them?
What is the significance of the Ark of the Covenant going into the Jordan ahead of them?
Who carries the ark?
What happens when the priest set foot in the water?
Where did the people cross over?
How many crossed over the Jordan on dry land?

What were the instructions concerning the Ark?
For what purpose did the Lord say that He would exalt Joshua?
